History

Greenhills Country Hotel and Restaurant was sold to the Seymour family in December 2009.

Seymour Hotels of Jersey was founded in 1919 by George and Ada Seymour and four generations later continues to be owned and operated by the Seymour family. Included in the Group is one of Jersey’s most famous hotels, the Pomme d’Or - a 4 star Hotel overlooking Liberation Square and St Helier yacht marina; the Merton Hotel, Jersey’s largest, offering a whole range of amenities, facilities, entertainment and leisure activities including the UK’s only Flowrider® wave machine; and the Watersplash Beach Bar & Diner – fabulously situated in the heart of St Ouen’s Bay, Jersey’s west coast surfing beach.

Although Seymour Hotels is the largest and longest established hotel and leisure group in Jersey it remains very much a family concern wholly committed to providing all of our guests with the best value for money in the Channel Islands. Greenhills Country Hotel & Restaurant is a wonderful addition to the Group and, along with Joe Godinho and Carmelita Fernandes, we look forward to welcoming new and returning guests.
